Dear Prospective Dealer,

We are always happy to accept new dealer applications from qualified retailers and would like to thank you in advance for your interest. To become an Authorized Sta-Tru Wheels (STW) Dealer and establish an account with us, you need to be an independent bicycle dealer or have a retail store front selling and servicing bicycles and related parts and accessories.

Please note that we also require faxed or emailed copies of the following documents to complete our account review.

Copy of your Resale Certificate or CA Sales Tax Certificate (if applicable)
Copy of your business license for the sale and/or repair of bicycles
Copy of Proof of Liability Insurance for your business
Completed and signed application. We will also need the names of all owners of the business in the appropriately marked spaces (if applicable)

Important Notes:
Sta-Tru’s terms of purchase are payment via authorized credit card, Paypal or company check prior to shipment. [At this time we are not able to offer extended credit terms.] All accounts must have a physical retail operation through which the business serves its customers face-to-face during regular retail hours. Sorry, we do not accept applications from businesses that generate sales solely from mail order or the web.

Sales Policy:
Sta-Tru Wheels sells to its authorized accounts according to an Authorized Dealer Price List. All dealer pricing is maintained and available to authorized dealers via password through our restricted website. Dealer pricing is to be held in strict confidence by Sta-Tru Wheels dealers at all times. [Note: California dealers must have a valid seller’s permit from the CA State Board of Equalization.]

Payment:
Terms are payment prior to shipment via credit card, debit card, Paypal or company check.

Shipping:
All orders will be shipped via FedEx Ground, unless special routing is requested and agreed to in advance.

Returned Shipments:
When sending goods back to Sta-Tru Wheels, return freight charges are the dealer’s responsibility and are non-reimbursable. No merchandise returned after 15 days will be accepted unless goods are defective or were shipped in error. All returns are subject to inspection upon return to the STW warehouse. If any goods are found to be defective, STW reserves the right to replace or credit that item at its discretion. All other returns may to subject to a 15% restocking charge.

Damaged Goods:
Products damaged in transit must be reported to the carrier on arrival or as soon as possible thereafter. Dealers are advised to save all packing lists, shipping cartons and packing materials in case a claim is necessary. For its part, STW will do everything possible to speed the process and get you a replacement or credit (if necessary).

Shortages:
All credits and claims for shortages must be reported to the STW office within 24 hours. Before reporting a shortage, make sure you open and inspect all cartons and packing materials and report how many cartons you received and signed for.

Ordering:
Please provide your Sta-Tru Wheels account number and STW item numbers when placing orders. Due to privacy and liability concerns, we cannot drop-ship merchandise directly to your customers. The minimum order for dealers is USD $20.00; orders placed below that minimum are subject to a $5.00 administrative fee.

Items can be withdrawn from availability at any time, and STW will advise all such changes (including new product additions) on a monthly basis to the best of our ability.
In the event that any item cannot be shipped as ordered, STW will notify dealer to arrange for a refund or account credit.
